Facts About Kawaki
One of the popular anime character in Boruto: Naruto Next Generation named kawaki is now the center of this anime about shinobi.

1. A Cool Young Man
As one of the cool characters like Sasuke and Sai, Kawaki also has a handsome face like the head of defense and the head of the Konoha intelligence agency. A man of few word and rarely spotted smiling, this shinobi named Kawaki also seems to have a Tsunadere nature.
2. Dark Childhood
His father was a drunkard and his mother whose whereabouts were unknown, those were his circumstances growing up. According to his drunken father, Kawaki was just an empty child and was only useful for beatings. The ungrateful father then sells him to Jigen, a dangerous figure.
3. Kawaki Has Genetically Modified Body
As we talked earlier in the previous point, Kawaki spent his entire childhood in an experiment lab and has been modified accordingly to become the Vessel of Jigen however he somehow managed to escape from the Lab and was adopted by Naruto as his stepson. Some of his body parts have been altered by Amado to match the expectations of the perfect Vessel. Currently, He is living freely under the guidance and love of Naruto Uzumaki.
4. Karma Seal
The Tattoo on his body is actually the Karma seal, a power that can suck chakra and various forms of energy. Jigen developed Kawaki’s karma to be the next Isshiki Otsutsuki container, and to make Kawaki a weapon that lacks purpose in life and happiness.
5. Chocho's Crush
His handsome face attracts many females in Konoha. The Taiyaki shop was the place where Kawaki first met Chocho, and Chocho sneakily glanced at him. Choji Akimichi's daughter, who loves to eat like her father, even ignores Taiyaki at the shop that Kawaki, Naruto and Sarada visited, because Chocho keeps an eye on Kawaki and thinks he's good looking.
6. Naruto's Second Son
Kawaki owes too much to Naruto. Naruto saved him many times from Kara and even adopted him as his own son after listening to his past. Naruto loves him like his own son and even Kawaki is highly influenced by Naruto. He considers Naruto a ray of sunshine in his dark world. Naruto knows how painful it can be to live in ignorance because he also has the dark past as Kawaki. This feeling made Naruto adopt him in the end.
7. He Sacrificed His Arm To Save Himawari
Kawaki is also willing to sacrifice without thinking for the sake of the people around him. Delta, the sadistic woman from Kara, who attacked Konoha ruins Naruto's training with his children, Himawari and Boruto.
Almost hit by Delta's powerful laser attack, Himawari and Naruto were pushed away by Kawaki who was there and the attack immediately destroyed his arm. Naruto Uzumaki saw this and immediately turned into Kyuubi mode to beat Delta.
8. His New Arm Is Connected To Naruto's Chakra
When Kawaki saved Himawari even after losing one of his arms, Naruto thanked him and decided to help with a new prosthetic arm. His new arm is made by Konoha’s Science Technology and contains the chakra of Naruto. When Naruto dies or is asleep, His arm stops working. It is only functional when Naruto remains safe. This is also an indicator that shows How’s Naruto doing or detects his health in battle. This arm can play a huge role in near future.
9. Naruto Made Him His Student
The training period with Boruto became a fun experience for Kawaki as a family, compared to the cruel, torturous training Jigen had done to him from a young age.
10. The New Member Of Team 7
Kawaki now is an official genin and a member of Team 7. Even though he doesn’t know his aim after being a Ninja. He even asked Naruto, What Shinobi is for which Naruto asked him to find the answer by himself. Kawaki’s first mission is ongoing in the anime and may feature some of the solid scenarios which might be useful for the future of Show. The arc is just in its starting phase so it is still hard to predict the future outcome at this point in time.
